Create a Website Easy

By on September 22, 2020

If you are like me, then technical computer stuff is scary. When it comes to setting up anything on a computer, I immediately go into a panic. So, when I was told I had to build my own website, you could imagine my state of mind. But it is possible to create a website easy. Here’s how it all went down.

How I got Here

Like many of us, this year has been challenging to say the least. I’d recently moved and was between jobs. With the arrival of Covid 19 I realized that things are changing. I’ve decided to be in charge of my own destiny so started my own business, working from home. Tools needed: a desk, a laptop and myself. I’m going to be an Affiliate Marketer.

For those who may not know, an affiliate marketer makes a commission by promoting and selling other people’s products. This is mostly done online hence the need for a website of my own. In order to promote the products that you are selling, you need to have an online presence ie a website and social media. There is much more involved but I’m just explaining it in very basic terms.

Where to Start?

From my research I realized I needed a website. This seemed lake a daunting task. And it was!. I did not know the first thing about setting up a website. I googled it and was soon drowning in information and even more confused.

Up to now I don’t know how I managed to come across this nugget of a training in that sea of information. But here I will share it with you. It claimed that it could make you create a website in 30 seconds! Normally I would skip over such crazy claims but this time I didn’t. Must have been desperate. This simple video training changed everything for me.

How to build a website in 30 seconds

Just followed this and had a functioning website set up. I’m still amazed at how little I knew. This was not the end but actually only the beginning! I had a website as promised but now I realized that was the easy part. Now I had to populate it with content.

What Next?

For me this training was the best. After being confused and making a mess out of starting my first website, this was a savior. You really do not know what you do not know. Because this was so helpful, I dug into the creators of the video and researched them. They are a company called Wealthy Affiliate and they help people get started and be successful at Affiliate Marketing.

Full disclosure, I have since joined WA as a Premium member and am really happy with the caliber of the training and with my progress thus far. Take a look at the video training above and see if it works for you. The video is also a part of their free trial of the system that includes a website.

If you are happy and want to sign up for the paid version it is worth it. They are so confident in the quality of their training that they offer the first month at a great discount. This means that you can “trial” the full version for a month. If you don’t like it or it doesn’t work for you, then you can just walk away. Here is the link to Wealthy Affiliate to check them out if you are interested.

Final Thoughts

So here I am two months later and I now have 5 websites. All of which I built from scratch. I’ve also learned about writing blogs and my content is coming along. Learning about traffic and using Social Media. I still have a long way to go but I’m also way further along than I ever thought that I’d be at this stage.

All I can say with certainty is that this system works for me. Whether it will work for you or not remains to be seen. It’s probably not for everyone because all of us are different individuals. But give it a try. What have you got to lose? Who knows, it may well work out for you too.

Bear in mind that some of the links on this website are affiliate links. If you go through them to make a purchase we will earn a commission at no extra cost to you but helps support our website. Keep in mind that we link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission we receive from your purchases.

Elite Marketing Pro Review | Is it for me?

By on September 10, 2020

Name: Elite Marketing Pro

Price: $47 – $997

Owner: Tim Erway

Elite Marketing Pro Overview

Elite Marketing Pro (EMP) is an online course that teaches Lead Generation and Network Building by means of Attraction Marketing Formula. It is primarily geared towards online marketers in the Multi Level Marketing (MLM) space. Traditionally MLM’s system consisted of the prospecting of clients and customers via face to face meetings and other such personalized techniques.

EMP teaches how to move this online by getting clients and customers to come to you rather than you having to chase them down. That is by attraction rather than by promotion. It does this by teaching Social Media recruitment strategies. It sounds simple. But is it?

This program is very intensive and contains lots and lots of training in all aspects of Attraction Marketing. It is an excellent system and the community and coaches are top-notch. They also have an Affiliate program that works as hands on training for the skills that you are learning. And you can even make money at it! Sound too good to be true?

As with all these products you have to get past the hype and see for yourself. That can be very difficult for a beginner who doesn’t know what they do not know. This is where I come in and why I’m writing this review. In the interest of full disclosure, I’m a VIP member of EMP. Honestly, this was too much program for me as a beginner. Here are my pros and cons.

  • The Training. there is a lot of great training! The presenters and coaches are successful marketers in their own right as can be seen by how they teach it. They know the subject matter.
  • The Community. The people on here from students to coaches and the principles and owners are hands on and very helpful. Especially if you know the right questions to ask. For beginners this could be a little problematic.
  • Annual Summit. There is an annual summit that you can attend. Here you can rub shoulders with the movers and shakers in the industry. This is always a great learning and motivational experience for attendees.
  • Facebook Groups and Blog: Really good active groups with great blog articles about the business and Attraction Marketing etc.
  • Way more Positive Reviews than Complaints.

  • Too much Hype; Unrealistic expectations. This could probably be said for just about all online courses. They believe in their product so they hard sell and promote it to the max! They make you believe that anyone who buys the course has no option other than to be highly successful and rich in quick time. Not so.
  • Products Overpriced. Again, like most other programs, the products are way overpriced so that the “special” discounted price appeals to prospective customers. Many feel they are getting a deal before realizing what they are getting into. Don’t get me wrong, there is lots of quality training here but it’s all hyper inflated prices.
  • Time. These training packages are yearly renewal. Realistically, the average beginner will not be able to get through all the training properly and make it within a year. If you can afford it, better cater to renew or be involved for multiple years.
  • Coaching and Upselling. The coaching in the early part with new beginners is mostly aimed at up selling. They help you to know what it really takes to succeed in this business which is more coaching and mentor ship. At the beginning when you have “free” coaching sessions, you really don’t know the right questions to ask.

Final Thoughts

My final opinion of this program is that it is an excellent program for people wanting to learn Attraction Marketing. How to implement the skills in building out your MLM or how to do Affiliate Marketing. It is just not for outright beginners. If you have some prior experience in marketing. Can function with websites and landing pages. Are comfortable with social media and SEO and advertising. Then it will be for you. If you want to check it out here is a link to a free boot camp where you can learn more for yourself.

As for me, I learned a lot and will continue to fight it out as I’ve already paid for it. I know that it’s really good training and I’m moving forward but, it will take time. I’ve since found a better system more suited to beginners like me. Wish that I had found this first. Then I’d have been more prepared for EMP and where it could get me. If anyone is interested here is a link to check that system out.

Bear in mind that some of the links on this website are affiliate links. If you go through them to make a purchase we will earn a commission at no extra cost to you but helps support our website. Keep in mind that we link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission we receive from your purchases.

How to Start in Affiliate Marketing

By on August 27, 2020

” How to start in Affiliate Marketing?” This is a question that is asked all the time. And one that I even asked myself not too long ago. I realized that I know so much more now than I knew then so decided to write this introduction. Hopefully it could help someone just thinking about starting an online business.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Here is the definition of Affiliate Marketing: a marketing arrangement by which an online retailer pays commission to an external website for traffic or sales generated from its referrals. Basically what that means is that we promote other people’s goods or services. And we get paid a commission whenever a customer purchases something based on our efforts.

For example: there is a guy that makes chocolates to sell. I promote his chocolates on my website and send them to his site where he sells them. Once the customer buys some product, I will make a percentage commission on the sale. This is a very simplified explanation but it’s basically what affiliate marketers do.

Affiliate Marketing System

There are 4 parts to making yourself an affiliate marketing system. 1) Choose an interest. This should be something that you know about or enjoy. It’s always better to sell products that you know about or are passionate about. Like in the example above, say I really like chocolates. Because of that I’ve learned a lot about them over time and can probably talk for hours about them. How fun and interesting would that be to do for a living? As the saying goes, “if you work at what you like, you wouldn’t work another day in your life”.

2) Build a website. This is how you will get yourself and your products out there. And how people would get to know you. The internet is a very powerful tool and can get you so much more exposure than old school advertising methods. This may seem daunting if you don’t consider yourself a “techie” or are comfortable with computers. It was for me, but it actually wasn’t as difficult as I thought. Especially with the right training (more on that later).

3) Get visitors and ranking for your website. Simply put, to get people and potential customers to your website, you have to attract them with what you post on it. Your content. This should be interesting, informative and helpful to your visitors so that they will spread the word and want to come back. There are many techniques for doing this which I won’t get into now.

4) Earn revenue. Finally, the part you’ve been waiting for! Once you’ve gotten people to know, like and trust you through your website. They will be now inclined to buy from you depending on your recommendations. Going back to the chocolate example once again. By now visitors to my website would know, like and trust my expertise and recommendations when it comes to chocolate. Now they would be ready to follow up and make purchases from my recommended sellers.

How to Start in Affiliate Marketing?

I hope that I’ve adequately described the basic ideas of affiliate marketing above? Is it something that you might be interested in doing to make some supplemental income? Many people have started for this reason and many have also gone full time into it. I was interested and started on my own. There is so much information available on the internet that covers anything you could be interested in. I started out trying to learn on my own. But the problem was too much information! Soon I was lost and confused and frustrated. Didn’t help that I wasn’t very computer-literate.

So, I decided to look at some courses and even tried a couple. Learned some stuff but found out too late (after I bought the course) that the training didn’t work for me. Here now is a short review of a course that worked for me and why. The company is called Wealthy Affiliate and here are some of my experiences.

I stumbled across them by accident while I was researching affiliates. From my research I found that they have been around since 2005 since they were founded by Kyle and Carson. This was a huge plus for me as I was unaware that affiliate marketing had been in existence for so long (the other companies that I dealt with before had only been around for 5 and 7 years). Also, both Kyle and Carson are still active on the platform on a daily basis!

I was still skeptical but then this brings me to my second point. They offer a free sign up course to try. This was really important to me who had been caught before. The free course was to build your own website to get started. If you are a technical person this might not seem like much for you. But for me it was a real test to see if they could really teach this “techno peasant” to set up a website as easily as they advertised.

I could not believe but it actually worked! Furthermore, the teaching style of Kyle worked for me. I was actually understanding and implementing what he taught! I was hooked, the amount of value they provided made me believe I could do this. But they weren’t done yet. You could sign up for the full course and only pay $19 for the first month. I’m not going to go into all the pricing details as you can see for yourself through their link. Also, to note, there was no up sell pressure like on other sites. These guys have a good product and they know it no need to oversell and spam people.

The next big thing for me, and probably the most important, is the community and support. Over their 15 years in existence they’ve trained about 2 million entrepreneurs many of whom are very successful. And at any point there are about 200,000 active users of their platform. Over time, they have built a very strong community and help is forthcoming all the time. There is an onsite technical team for any questions or problems. But there is also a live chat going on constantly. Here no question is too stupid or ignored. Someone always answers you. Sometimes even the owners are on here with answers! The community is very knowledgeable and helpful and I’ve personally not experienced this level of assistance anywhere else.

In conclusion I would definitely recommend this course for anyone interested in starting an affiliate marketing business. This is not a fly-by-night course that promises overnight riches and success. It requires hard work and time to get yourself branded and recognized online. However, it does teach the fundamental concepts and has a great community to help you on your day to day journey. I have been a member for just over 1 month. Already I have 4 websites that I am writing content for while continuing on with the course and learning more skills. It’s all happening in real time! Please check out this Wealthy Affiliate link if interested. Thanks.
